What are Personal Injury claims?

an injured person with a medical consultant

Some people don’t really like making personal injury claims.    They are worried – worried about the costs, about the bother and whether it is right thing to do.   Often in work place accidents people are worried about suing their boss.    Or they don’t want to make a fuss and think that their work colleagues won’t support them.

But look at this in another way.  If you have been injured at work because the place is unsafe, for example if there is not proper risk assessment in place and your boss is getting away with it or turning a blind eye – whose fault is that?  Should they just continue to “get away with it”?  Employers are supposed to be looking out for your safety, and if things go wrong, that’s why they have insurance – or are supposed to have.

So if you have an injury at work, ask an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to check out your claim.    There are more benefits than just money – you may need rehabilitation or retraining if you are badly injured for example – and it may make your workplace less dangerous for others when your employers learn by their mistakes.    Contact Robert Thornton Smith at Wilkins Solicitors LLP – he has been dealing with personal injury claims for over 30 years!
