Experienced Family Solicitor – 5 years plus PQE
An opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor with at least 5 years of Family Law experience is being sought to join a friendly and supportive team as a full-time Solicitor.
Working within a team of experienced Family Lawyers and 3 support staff, this is fantastic opportunity to progress your career as a Family Solicitor, working alongside partners of the firm. This opportunity will enable the correct candidate to become the Head of the Department with a route to progression to Partnership. The firm is one of the oldest firms in the area, we have a long standing and large client base and this role is to expand the department due to an influx of work matters. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of matters, including Divorce matters, financial matters arising from divorce, cohabitation, separation, Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements, Private Children Act Matters and Family Law Act Matters.
To apply for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
- Strong knowledge of Family Law Matters including Matrimonial Law and Children Act Law.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- A critical thinker with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of covering or assisting with Court Hearings (including remote court hearings) and undertaking own advocacy would be of interest but not essential.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team assisting on family matters, with a willingness to learn.
- Looking to make career progress, including being the Head of Department.
